SUPPLY CHAIN ASSISTANT (12-month FTC)

We currently have an opening for a Supply Chain Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract.
This position is responsible for planning production and stock levels in line with sales demand and company policies and targets.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Leader the key responsibilities associated with this role are:
 In line with training and applicable procedures, conduct all duties in a way that promotes WIL’s values, & best practice standards relating to health, safety, environmental & quality performance.
 Being a role model for Indorama’s core values at all times.
 Collate and authorise changes to Forecasts and Orders from the Sales and Customer Care teams.
 Highlight and address any gaps/challenges in meeting Customer Demand
 Update Inventory, Production and Sales data for the Planning files
 Prepare and authorise changes to the monthly production plan incorporating trial requests and time for essential maintenance in addition to regular customer demand and sales forecasts.
 Review planned versus actual and work with Team to make changes as required to support customer demand in line with business targets.
 Support colleagues on inventory and planning related queries.
 Attend the monthly Product Review meeting to gather inputs on technical projects and new product developments
 Lead the monthly Supply Review meeting to agree the Plan for the coming month and review Plans for subsequent months.
 Prepare and distribute monthly rolling production plans and monthly production and inventory reports.
 Work with procurement and logistics to ensure the timely delivery of key raw materials to support the Production Plan

A qualification in Supply Chain Management and/or a knowledge of supply chain concepts is an advantage.
The successful candidate must be a good communicator with good verbal and written communication skills enabling them to work co-operatively and effectively to establish and maintain a good working relationship with stakeholders at all levels. They must be able to adapt to changing demands and work as part of a team.
He/she must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular, Microsoft Excel.
The successful candidate must possess strong business acumen coupled with good analytical capabilities.
