IVEX CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT LEADER – MULLAGH BASED
We currently have a vacancy at our plant in Mullagh for an IVEX (Indorama Ventures Excellence Vertical) Continuous Improvement Leader.
Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing this position will support the Site Manufacturing Team (MSC Production, R&D/QA) in continuous improvement implementation and will serve as the single point of contact to deploy the IVEX culture throughout the site.
He/she will have involvement in developing process analysis and re-engineering to improve efficiency, lower costs and improve product quality by promoting the use of lean principles and tools to achieve business goals.

The Person
The above position is best suited to individuals who are highly organised with strong attention to detail. The person appointed must be capable to adapt to changing demands.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Able to employ key programs and metrics into operation seamlessly for success.
The position requires personal initiative and the desire to succeed.
That applying must be educated to Green Belt Six Sigma standard and have 3+ years experience using LSS methodologies. Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with quality management systems.
Good communication (written and verbal) along with excellent influencing skills are beneficial as the candidate is expected to operate in a team environment across functional areas on-site and in liaison with international contacts and other external stakeholders.
Working with the teams to identify problems and assist with corrective actions where necessary and project follow-through is a key aspect of the person’s responsibility.
Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal.
Strong executive presentation skills.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Technical or Manufacturing.
Attention to detail and computer literacy is very important.
