Wellman is proud of its involvement with the floorcoverings sector. For many years, Wellene and Wellbond polyester staple fibre products have been extensively used in both household and contact carpets and in car carpets.
Wellene fibres are hard wearing, and efficient to process, whilst adding that luxurious hand other synthetic fibre types cannot match. A wide range of Wellene fibres is available including both round and trilobal profiles.
Wellene Black, specifically for the automotive and technical textiles sector is chosen for colour fastness and strength and is chosen specifically for use in deep moulding applications.
Wellbond bi-component fibres are widely used as a thermal bonding agent to provide excellent tuft retention and resilience. |
