TECHNICAL
SERVICES/PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
We currently have an opening for a Technical
Services/Product Development Executive.
Reporting
to the Senior Product Development/Technical Services Executive, the
Technical Services/Product Development Executive is responsible for
providing technical support for Wellman International Limited
customers, sales personnel and agents and for the development and
introduction of new products to the market. The successful candidate
will also be expected to assist in establishing marketing
trends/opportunities and develop product portfolios.
The
Position : Candidates should have at least five years industrial
experience preferably textile related. Experience of computerised
packages including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook are essential.
The person appointed ideally should possess
knowledge of the synthetic fibre process or polymer technology.
The
Person : The above position is best suited to individuals who are
highly organised and can work quickly and accurately to meet
deadlines.
They
must be able to adapt to changing demands and work as part of a team.
The
successful candidate must have good communication and interpersonal
skills as well as good investigative and problem solving capabilities.
It
is expected that the candidate will possess a third level
qualification in chemistry,
polymer science or a related field.
Fluency
in French/German is desirable.
Candidates must also be prepared to travel on a
regular basis as part of this job.
