The Person: The role is best suited to an individual who has strong commercial focus and acumen. The successful candidate is likely to have at least five years experience in a similar role, but not exclusively in a manufacturing environment. However, experience of pulling a product through from a manufacturing basis through converters to the end user would be a distinct advantage. Experience of the fibre/textiles industry is desirable, however full training will be provided on the Wellman product range and on the industry sector. The successful person must be able to demonstrate a high level of personal motivation and initiative while working as part of a team. Strong analytical skills with an ability to explain and interpret data are essential. The person recruited must be highly organised and be able to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines. He/She must be a good communicator with good verbal and written communication skills enabling them to communicate effectively both between company departments as well as with external contacts. It is expected that the candidate will possess a third level qualification in Marketing/Business or a related discipline. However an individual with an Engineering background with experience in marketing will also be considered.

International travel will be a requirement for the role.
